Len was a gentle gentleman, trustworthy and honourable. A loss to his loved ones and the Bulawayo Community. He suffered a massive stroke at his home in Garden Park, Bulawayo on the 3rd of January 2010 and succumbed the following day. He was 93 years old and survived by his wife Margaret to whom we pass or sincere condolences.Len was an active member of the Police Reserve between 1954 and 1965, during which time he served as i/c Police Reserve Reconnaissance Unit in Bulawayo.He was a keen member of the Regimental Association and, although wheelchair bound, made a point of attending the Annual Luncheon.Len had seen active service in Italy during the 2nd World War with the Royal Armoured Corps, winning the Military Cross.A funeral service will be held on Tuesday the 9th February 2010 at 10.30 am at the Church of Ascension in Hillside Regards,Karl Hurry 9499Vice Chairman,
