Night sky observing sessions.

Night sky observing sessions. Come and see planets star clusters and galaxies. There are a variety of astronomical telescopes available at the observatory for guided use, including the largest telescopes in Zimbabwe. Funds raised from these events will go in part to re-establishing the Harare Centre of the Astronomical Society of Southern Africa. Sessions are 90 minutes in length for a maximum number of 8 persons per session. The session will transition from unaided eye star and constellation recognition using a powerful green laser, to the view through large binoculars to the view through a large telescope.
