A major swing
(instabilty) in the transmission system forced all units at Hwange
Power Station to come out of service at 15:40 this afternoon.(Thursday 6th
September).
It
can take a couple of days to recover from such a set back as units can only be
brought back sequentiality.
I
know that our sister company, ZETDC, will be doing their utmost to
secure support power from the region.
