Safeguard Swcurity report for July

A few areas to note when looking at this report

Where there has been no security outside intruders have had free reign to steal what they want undetected.  If you have no security outside you really need to think about it now. We have given you a few notes on guarding below the report.

Giving a member of staff on the property a panic button is good for overall security on the premises. It protects them, and helps to protect you. Often staff are targeted first and are then the route into the main premises undetected – especially before residents retire for the night.

There are an increasing number of break in’s through the roof. This has been on the up over the last few months, and usually was restricted to Commercial premises. Residential sites are now being targeted. Have a look at your own systems and make sure that you have this area covered, to prevent undetected access to the premises or your security equipment.

If you need any advice on this or any other security worries please call your local branch or sms the word ADVICE to 0772198341 and one of our professionals will call you
·       The presence of a security guard at a business can provide peace of mind and a sense of security to the business owner, employees and customers.  This may be particularly important for businesses that deal in very high-end merchandise or are located in high-crime areas.
·       Simply having a security guard present is a great deterrent to crime. Thieves will think twice about targeting a business that has uniformed protection.
·       A guard is a greater visual deterrent than just camera surveillance or a standard security system.  A vigilant guard is able to press a panic button.
·       Guards can also be available as escorts for customers and employees to get to their cars after dark.
·       Hiring personable and capable guards lets you communicate that your business is secure and customer-oriented.
·       If you need to secure valuables outside  the a guard is often the way to go, and whilst seemingly expensive , they are in fact great value for money  as they prevent theft
-        Make sure the guard is properly supervised by the guard company .This is essential.
