Judy contacted me on Sunday to tell me that Robert had
passed away on early Sunday afternoon - it was a merciful release - as he was
suffering both from dementia and inability to move.
The past month has been a nightmare for them both - and he
seems to have been on a diet of morphine and oxygen - had been moved to `An End
of Life` hospice on Friday -
She is of course devasted but also relieved an happy that he
is out of both pain and misery and grateful for the years of happy marriage
they had.
All ways a great friend and someone you could rely upon. A great Skal member.
