Someone travelling to
Chirundu Thursday 9th August afternoon, saw a very young
elephant on its own. No family in sight.
She stayed with it for quite a
long while trying to get hold of someone to help and to see if they could
see/find the herd.
It is very scared of the traffic
and no other herd in sight.
This is approx 20km’s before
Makuti and the little one eventually ran off up the hill into the bush on the
right hand side driving towards Makuti from Harare.
