Waening - Chinhoyi

I had 2 reports today (Wednesday) of a team of at least 2 persons who were trying to enter premises in the low density of Chinhoyi.

At one place the suspects tried to allege that the owner’s dog had got out and bitten one of them. It seemed this was just a ploy to get inside the yard.

At the second premises the suspects got right into the home (past an electric gate and dog) and surprised the owner right in the house. She found the two of them going through the drawers in her bedroom.

Both were well dressed and one was quite large.

The following vehicle was seen at the first premises: white Toyota MITSA Reg ACB 0665. It is possible that one of the men was armed with a pistol which he wore on his hip. The weapon was not produced at either incident.

Please let us be alert and keep our gates locked and keep telling our staff not just to open the gate for any Tom, Dick or Sibanda. This group is very bold, operating in broad daylight and possibly armed.
