CHANGE - Consular Section opening times are changing.

From 1 April 2014, Consular Section opening times are changing.

Our new opening hours will be;

 

Monday – Thursday

8.00am – 12.00pm

 

We will continue to offer consular support and the return/collection of passports on behalf of HMPO during those times.  Shorter opening hours will allow consular staff to better focus on assistance work and our vulnerable customers to help ensure the delivery of high quality consular support for British nationals.

 

If you have been arrested, involved in an accident, are a victim of crime, have lost or had your passport stolen or a British National has died in Zimbabwe and you require consular assistance please call +263 4 8585 5200 between the hours of 08.00am and 16.30pm. 

 

For urgent consular assistance outside our office hours please ring the same number and your call will be connected to our Global Response Centre who will provide the same assistance/advice as the consular team in Harare or escalate the issue if needed.

 

Should you be in the UK and need help because something has happened to a friend or relative abroad please contact the Foreign & Commonwealth Office in London on 020 7008 1500 (24 hours) and ask to speak to the Country Casework Team who deal with Zimbabwe or, alternatively,  you can email them Feedback.Consular.Services@fco.gsi.gov.uk

 

In most cases we are only able to assist British passport holders and dual nationals who are not in the country of their other nationality.
