The
Minister of Youth, Indigenisation & Economic Empowerment has just announced
that yesterday, Cabinet unanimously passed a resolution directing that by 01
April 2016 line ministries should proceed to issue orders to licencing
authorities to cancel licences of non-compliant businesses within their
respective sectors of the economy.
You may
come across some companies that may be looking for assistance in complying with
the 31 March 2016 Indigenisation Compliance deadline, so may we kindly ask you
to forward them the attached? We are currently working with the Ministry on
other Economic Empowerment projects and believe that we can add value through
