SAFE TRAVEL IN MOZAMBIQUE
Good evening all. Just a quick note to let you know about the convoy between muxungue and the save bridge. We travelled it on sat 9th April. We arrived at the garage at 11.30 and the convoy rolled in from the save 10 mins later. No incidences recorded. The army were very efficient and organised and got us all into line and off we set at 12.50. We ended up near the front which we have been told is NOT where u want to be BUT I will tell you we travelled the convoy the last time it was in place a couple years ago and being at the back or middle was not that organised. This time being at the front was very organised and the military were very efficient. We travelled at a steady 60km/h with the military going up and down next to us and every now and then there were military stationed on the road patrolling. We stayed away from the buses and military cars and arrived safe and sound at the save river at about 3.00. No issues to report and we felt very secure during the trip. And now we are fully enjoying our annual Moz holiday at Lula's Paradise.. Jacomina
