Horses

The VAWZ team recently rescued three horses from a farm just outside Harare - they were extremely emaciated as well as being covered in ticks. A Veterinary report gave them body scores of 1 (the 6 year old mare - right of the picture), 2 (the 11 yr old grey gelding) and 4 (the 10 year old gelding - left of the picture). They have responded well to the care and attention they have received and will be looking for homes in the New Year.
