10th August 2017
Dear Marineland Boat Owners and customers,
My apologies to all for my silence over the past two months
as I have been away.
To try and get the lake figures out to you before the long
weekend I am sending the figures with no attached newsletter, this will follow
later.

Estimates for the lake level by December 2017 are that the
lake will be considerably higher than the same time 2016. This is
encouraging but obviously depends on the drawdown for power generation by
Zambia and Zimbabwe.
It remains for me to wish you all a very enjoyable long
weekend. We hope to see many of you visiting Kariba and Marineland during this
period. Travel safely and enjoy some good fishing as the bream are biting with
many being caught both on worm and dough. Please beware on the roads for our
breeding herd of elephant which are currently around, and our zebra which are
continually roaming the roads around Kariba. Lion are also present in Kariba at
present. Enjoy your stay as the weather is perfect for an enjoyable trip on the
lake.
From the management team and myself we wish you all the very
best.
Bob Collett & all at Marineland
