Please put
out a message of thanks to our amazing community.
I was
involved in a horrendous accident on Sunday night outside headlands, where we
ploughed into a herd of mombies with no time to avoid collision.
Please
thank the amazing Zimbabweans who stopped to help, “Chipo” and others with
assistance and help.
Our car was
left stranded on the centre-line of the road in a very dangerous position in
the dark unable to move, and I made a mental note of the things that could have
helped make the situation safer.
For all
other Zimbabweans who may end up in a similar situation:
Have a
torch handy
Have the
numbers for “road angels” readily available
Keep cell
phones charged and with airtime at all time
4 triangles
is better than two
A TOW ROPE
WOULD HAVE BEEN A HUGE HELP
BUT MOST
IMPORTANTLY: DO NOT DRIVE IN THE DARK ON THE COUNTRY ROADS
Thanks to
all again, and thank God nobody was hurt
