George Fleming House Is Appealing For Your Help

In existence for over 100 years GFH desperately needs to be refurbished and re-equipped. Providing accommodation for young ladies between the ages of 18 and 26 years GFH offers affordable accommodation including 2 meals a day. GFH needs to attract more residents to break even but without refurbishing and re-equiping this is proving difficult and our viability is in serious jeopardy. The "House" was recently registered with the National Trust of Zimbabwe and with your help we can work towards restoring this historic building and its contents to a more fitting state.

Q. How many of us have a surplus of unused beds, mattresses, cupboards, chest of drawers, curtains, chairs, tables, kitchen equipment, light fittings, books, book cases, garden tools, fencing?   

Q. How many of us are qualified to attend to electrical & plumbing faults, painting, glazing, pump repairs etc? 

Q. How many of us are prepared to help?

Without your financial and material support GFH will not increase the number of residents needed to cover costs.
