Please can you notify the public that we
have had a POSITIVE case of RABIES at Kamfinsa Veterinary Surgery last week.
The dog was bitten by another suspected
rabid dog running around in Mandresa park which is just past Support unit on
Arcturus Road, just past Mandara. The suspected rabid dog ran off and is
still at large as far as we know.
These rabid animals are very close to
residential areas where there are large dog and cat populations.
Please can all dog and cat owners be
vigilant about keeping their rabies inoculations up to date.
We are presently up dating our records
and are amazed and shocked at how many animals are overdue for rabies
inoculations.
PLEASE KEEP YOUR RABIES INNOCULATIONS UP
