Condolences: It is with great
sadness that we have learnt that Victor Cohen passed away on the 7th
August. We would like to offer our condolences to his family, friends and
colleagues. He always made time and gave of himself for anybody in need. He
will be sadly missed by many people in Zimbabwe and around the world, and by
everyone at Sew-Tex.
Memorial Notice: It is with great
sadness that we announce the passing of Andrew Staunton. Please join us
in celebrating Andrew’s life at Prince Edward Chapel at 11am on Wednesday 16th
August 2017. To be followed by a gathering at Old Hararians Bowls Section
afterwards. Formal dress please.

My auntie my dad's sister and uncle my aunties husband but not related knew a Staunton family in early 1960s when they were running Enterprise Country Club and 9 Golf Course there (they were running Ruwa Country Club and Golf Course before that) the Staunton family farmed somewhere on the road between Salisbury/Harare and Enterprise on the right hand side you couldn't see the farm dwelling. They used to talk about the Stauntons and one of them came to help my uncle mentioned after he had a fairly serious car crash near the farm on the main road. My auntie Pam passed away in London UK in August 2018 and my uncle Gordon passed away in Harare Zimbabwe in July 1995 he was a bit older than my auntie they met in Joburg South Africa in early to mid 1950s. RIP Andrew Staunton cos the first name rings a bell if is or not from the family I am thinking of.
