Fireworks

The Zimbabwe National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ZNSPCA) has noted the communications going out for various fireworks evenings. While we understand that these are fundraising evenings, we ask that all organisers be socially responsible and send out to all who live in the areas around where the fireworks will be taking place a note that the SPCA and ZNSPCA have requested that people are aware of the fireworks and that they lock their animals inside before the fireworks start. Last year we used valuable resources collecting, kennelling and rehoming dogs that had not been locked up and had escaped due to the fireworks.
