Night before last - warning

The following was sent in to me by a reader just now – this is probably the real reason why the SA 064 is now leaving Joburg before dark!

I have not had it verified – just speculation

*South African Airways last night cancelled its evening flight from Johannesburg citing poor lighting on the

    runway at Harare International Airport. Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe chief executive David Chawota – 

Please be advised that due to operational reasons SA024 will operate at 1620hrs instead of 1940hrs . This is effective immediatley until Monday 15 October 2012 . Should the situation change in the meantime we will advise you accordingly.
