The
Zimbabwe National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ZNSPCA),
have noted the e-mails, adverts etc that are going out for various fireworks
evenings. Whilst we understand that these are fundraising evenings, we ask that
all would be socially responsible and send out electronically to all the sites
that you have sent to and a note to all who live in the areas around where the
fireworks will be taking place that the SPCA and ZNSPCA have requested that
people are aware of the fireworks and that they lock their animals inside
before the fireworks start. Last year we used valuable resources collecting,
kennelling and rehoming dogs that had not been locked up and had escaped due to
the fireworks.
