Vehicle Theft

The good news is that the Vehicle Theft Section (VTS) of Southerton Police Station  have arrested 4 men  and are holding the Pink Vitz that I sent emails out about earlier this week. The 4 men were dressing up as bogus policemen and stopping drivers whom they had seen talking on their cell phones. They had then bullied large sums of money out of the victims

The Bad news is that they can only hold them for 48 hours! And after that they will be long gone!

So the Member in Charge of VTS at Southerton, Det Insp Nxumalo , urgently wants those people that were “Taken” by these 4 to give statements and, if possible, identify them in an Identity parade. This needs to be done tomorrow, Thursday! If you cannot make it to Southerton please try to go down to see D/Insp Matoka – Member in Charge CID Highlands. This option may , however, delay the documentation begin sent to Southerton by several days !

So please try to go down there and see either D/I Nxumalo or Carlos sometime during your busy day – it will take a maximum of 30 minutes of your time once you are there
