ANTI-HIJACK UPDATE FOR MARCH 2013

As the Easter and school holidays approach its time to make sure that ALL security is up to date, check all alarms and remotes so that you are as secure as you can be if you are now taking a break and going away for a well earned time out with family and friends  …. Do NOT leave it … you just may come back to disaster … this may sound harsh but we are living in such times now.  Please make sure that all pets are cared for properly in your absence and plans are in place for this …… there have been a lot of animals ‘lost’ recently and this is a very stressful happening for all concerned.  This also does not mean leaving your animals out at night to be poisoned or to disturb the neightbourhood for those at home wanting peace and quiet over the Easter period.

CASES of armed robberies have increased in and around Harare with people losing cars, cash, cellphones and valuables at gunpoint, in separate incidences. Police have confirmed this. This comes in the wake that at least 2 000 criminal suspects are roaming the streets free after being released on bail pending appeal. … Be warned !   Crime IS on the increase ensure you have increased your security and all involved are aware of this.  
Whilst using our roads this holiday period, please keep to the Highway Code & rules and have respect for other people using the highways and roads ….  let’s keep carnage off the roads.  It may be time to enjoy, but have respect for others, there will be many Police road blocks, make sure you have a copy of fines etc in your car, so that you are aware and can avoid unnecessary aggravation.  Travel with fire extinguishers triangles and the such like which is the law in Zimbabwe.
